“Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other… A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic.” Carl Sagan
And not just books, but other kinds of writing, too! Poetry, short stories, journalism, reviews, translations – all have the same magic power to bring people together across time and space.
The Eurasian Creative Guild (London) (ECG) continues to celebrate this magic in this tumultuous year with the 9th Open Eurasia Book Festival (OEBF). At its heart are the array of exciting literary competitions. So don’t miss out.
Whatever your own particular genre of writing, prose or poetry, journalism or criticism, the chances are you will find a category for you. There’s even a category for illustrators.
Participating in the competitions not only gives you a unique platform for sharing your work across international boundaries through the OEBF, but there is also $40,000 of prize money to reward the winners to fund the full professional publication of their work in the UK. Winning works can see their books distributed to major London booksellers and online platforms like Amazon.
The deadline is approaching rapidly, on 5th September. So get your submissions in now.
