The overall prize fund value of the contest is $ 17,500* and includes the following awards:

 

      1. «Grand Prix — Hertfordshire Press Award».

        Value: $ 5,000 USD (publishing grant)
        Who can win? Participants in the «Literary» category.
        What will the winner receive?
        — Their work will be published and printed as a ECG book series in London.

        — Their work will be presented at the OEBF festival in next year.

      2. «The Maria Shevel Award for Children’s Topics».
        Value: $ 5,000 USD (publishing grant)

        Who can win? Participants submitting children’s literature related work.
        What will the winner receive? 
        — Grant $ 3,500*.
      3. «Award for the best work in the Non-Fiction category.».
        Value: $ 5,000 USD (publishing grant)

        Who can win? Participants submitting work in the category of N0n-fiction.
        What will the winner receive?
        — Grant $ 3,500*.
      4.  The Alexandra Rey Prize for the best work in English.

        Value: $2,500* )

        Who can win? Any English-language work in any category of the competition.

        What will the winner receive?    
        — Grant $ 1,750.  publishing grant: basic e-book publishing package included
      5. People’s choice award — new nomination
    1. Who can win? All participants.
    2. What will the winner receive? Free publication in one of projects.

SELECTION OF FINALISTS AND WINNERS

Selection:

Winners, runners up and finalists will be selected via both online voting of readers on the official website of the competition, and by the decision of the Committee. The committee includes the organisers of the competition and experts in the field of publishing, literature and art.

Finalists:

From 3 to 50 finalists will be selected in each category.
An award ceremony for the winners of each category will be held during the OEBF Festival in November 2020.

Second and third place:

The participants receiving third place in each of the three categories will receive a certificate of the Laureate of «Third Degree Winner»; the participants who take second place in each of the categories will receive a certificate of the «Laureate of Second Degree Winner».
Second and third prize winners will be recognised online and receive a 10% discount on projects of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) for 2020.

Literary Work Winner:

The winner of «Literary Work» will receive a certificate of the «First Degree Winner» and the opportunity to publish his/her work and make its presentation at the OEBF Festival with the support of the British publishing house «Hertfordshire Press».

Exclusions of participation:

The founder, jury and other members of the Guild who propose a conflict of interest by entering the competition cannot be admitted to the prize.

Winning Participants in each award category

*The Value of the prize includes administrative fees of 30% for the organisation of the festival and administration / ceremony surrounding it. The Organiser will also deduct additional costs encountered by the participant, including, but not limited to membership fees ECG and travels costs.

All award winning literature or artwork can be used to publish books in London as part of the ECG Book Series or other Guild projects.

This is integral to your participation in the competitions, and without this you cannot be a participant. Information will not be kept or passed on without prior request by OEBF.
